Nicole Bennett, Ph.D.
Dr. Nicole Bennett teaches in the Master of Arts in Education program for University of Massachusetts Global’s School of Education. She earned her Doctorate of Philosophy in Education with an emphasis in culture and curricular studies from Chapman University. She has a Master’s Degree in Reading Education from California State University Fullerton, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego. She began her career in higher education as an adjunct professor in the Reading Department at Palomar College in San Diego. Dr. Bennett has experience designing dynamic and engaging college courses and has accumulated over five years of experience teaching online. She is dedicated and driven to inspire student personal growth and academic success, and remains committed to furthering academic and professional development.
Dr. Bennett spent her childhood and formative years abroad in both Europe and Canada. This immersion experience developed her awareness to cultural sensitivity and desire to teach and work with people from diverse backgrounds. Her research interests include qualitative research methods, Arts Based inquiry, the Third Culture, global education, and the development of culture and curricular education.
