Biography

 

I have been a nurse for over 35 years, graduating with my BSN in 1985 and my Masters in Nursing Education in 2009. Over the course of my career, I have had various nursing careers. I started off in Labor and Delivery, worked in nursing informatics for nine years, returned to Labor and Delivery, became the assistant head nurse of Obstetrics, worked in Hospice Care and then found my true calling as an instructor of nursing 10 years ago at the University of Toledo in Ohio. I have loved every day of my career as all of these positions helped prepare me for my current role and my biggest passion - Nursing Education!  
I am happy to be teaching at UMASS Global currently!
