Brandman University is thrilled to be honored for the second consecutive year by HR.com for its exemplary efforts to develop the leaders of tomorrow. The institution’s School of Extended Education received the Leadership 500 Excellence Award for its outstanding corporate leadership development certificate programs.
The School of Extended Education is focused on serving the needs of today’s ever-evolving workforce and its organizations, which is why its program developers and leadership sought out to create the leadership development certificate programs. The school was recognized for partnering with a wide variety of organizations to help their workforce grow and thrive. The breadth of organizations includes Fortune 500 companies, public sector agencies, nonprofit organizations, military installations, and small to large scale domestic and international companies. Brandman University was honored among the top in the nation for the educational institutions category.
The award was presented to Brandman University at the LEAD 2015 ceremony in Dallas, Texas, on March 31st, World Leadership Day. The event’s mission is to change the world by inspiring individuals, communities, organizations and governments to choose education, collaboration and ethical leadership instead of alternative negative outlooks. In the spirit of spreading positive change among aspiring and current world leaders, the event was made available to the public worldwide by a live simulcast streaming broadcast. Select HR.com partners hosted remote groups who gathered at various locations to listen and watch keynote and guest speakers and conference materials were available through the Personal Excellence App on mobile devices.
This year’s award recipients were selected based on either an application or nomination process followed by an evaluation by HR.com’s expert leadership panel and complimented by feedback from the program’s participants. As the largest global social networking site for human resources professionals, HR.com then encouraged nominees to promote public voting through social media campaigns over the course of the submission period.
