Biography
Dr. Yockelson’s training and experience focuses on pre-professional and in-service training and consultation that focuses on early identification and referral for young children with disabilities and on the successful inclusion for these children in natural environments and general education settings. As a co-developer and trainer on the Ages and Stages Questionnaires (ASQ®-3 and ASQ:SE®-2), she consults with a wide range of programs that serve young children and their families through early childhood education, early childhood mental health, social services, public health, and pediatrics. She has provided consultation and training with agencies and statewide initiatives in the United States and throughout Canada. As a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Dr. Yockelson focuses on natural environment teaching strategies that promote the inclusion of children with disabilities in community and educational settings.
