Graduate Admission Made Simple

Prospective students ready to pursue a master's or doctoral degree need to show they’re prepared for advanced academic work by meeting our admissions standards. There are three ways to qualify for admission: by GPA, by holding a prior graduate degree, or by submitting a portfolio. See which one best fits your situation.

No matter which option you choose, you’ll need at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. If you earned your bachelor’s degree outside the United States, you may still qualify if an official evaluation shows your degree is equivalent.

Three Ways to Qualify for Admission

Option What You Need
Admission by GPA 2.75 GPA over your most recent 30 semester (or 45 quarter) credits in bachelor’s or post-bachelor’s study. If your school doesn’t calculate GPAs, an official letter showing grade equivalency can work.
Admission by Prior Graduate Degree A completed master’s degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
Admission by Portfolio Submit a portfolio showing you’re ready for grad school, including: writing samples, resume, awards, letters of recommendation, and an explanation of why you’re a strong candidate. If your portfolio is approved, you may be invited to interview. The final admission decision rests with the Graduate Admissions Committee.

Send Us Your Official Transcripts & Other Required Documents

Submit official transcripts from ALL the baccalaureate degree-granting institutions and institutions where post-baccalaureate coursework was completed or attempted. If any are missing from the list, your application will be delayed.

Once all transcripts and other required documents have been received, your application will be evaluated, and you will be notified by email of our admission decision.
