At University of Massachusetts Global, our goal is to get you to your degree as quickly and cost-efficiently as possible. That’s why we have four ways to turn what you already know into credits towards your degree. 

Our enrollment coaches will talk to you and help you find every possible credit that will transfer over so you can be one step closer to your degree.

Transfer Your College Credits

If you’ve attended any regionally accredited college or university, we’ll help you transfer as many of those credits as possible toward your degree. If you’re attending a California community college now, learn more about the "Transfer Admission Guarantee" that ensures all your credits seamlessly transfer.

Make Your Military Training Count

UMass Global’s history is rooted in serving military service men, women and their families. That’s why we’ve partnered with most military and public service organizations to ensure you get credit for the things you’ve already learned. Using ACE guidelines, you can turn your military coursework, training and service into credits towards your degree.

Leverage Work Experience

If you are a working adult, you’ve probably gained some professional skills and experience that can be applied for college credits at UMass Global. Here we value real world experience and the knowledge you’ve acquired along the way. With our specific academic pathways, you can accelerate your timeline to graduation by leveraging your work experience.

Test for Credit

Everything we do is designed to serve the adult learner, and we know you don’t want to waste time in a class studying things you already know. At UMass Global, you can earn alternative credits by testing out of classes. If you can pass specific exams, such as AP, CLEP and DANTES General and Subject exams, we will grant you the credits.
