“Degree With a Guarantee” California Community College Transfer Program

As an independent, nonprofit university in California and a member of AICCU, UMass Global is proud to be just one of a handful of universities participating in this partnership with California Community Colleges. The Associate Degree for Transfer (ADT) is a special degree offered through all 114 California Community Colleges that will guarantee you a saved spot at UMass Global. In most cases, when you earn your ADT at your local community college, you will seamlessly transfer those credits to us with junior year standing. Massachusetts Community College Transfer Program

We are proud to accept MassTransfer Gen Ed Foundation courses for transfer credit to University of Massachusetts Global. Students who are studying at a Massachusetts Community Colleges may be eligible for a program called MassTransfer Gen Ed Foundation. These credits, when completed together with a 2.0 or higher GPA, fully transfer to UMass Global and may satisfy the general education degree requirements - even if you don’t have your associate degree.


General Education Block Transfer

Perhaps you’ve completed your general education at one or multiple colleges and now you want to gather up all those credits and apply them towards your four-year degree. UMass Global accepts a wide variety of GE credit transfers if they are completed prior to attending your first UMass Global class:

University of Massachusetts Global accepts coursework from many different colleges and universities to meet course equivalencies, general education or general elective credits. If you can’t find courses, they may not yet be reviewed. For a complete review of transfer credits, grab your transcripts and connect with an enrollment coach.

If you’re a working adult with educational goals, we’ve got a competency-based education program called MyPath that’s designed for you. Our program is fully flexible allowing you to speed to completion or pause when you need to. Your work experience can convert to credits and while you’re in class you will learn things you can immediately apply to your job. That’s a win-win.
