Accessibility Information
ADA Tickets
During the registration process, graduating students can designate if they need ADA accommodations or if any of their guests need ADA guest tickets.
Curbside Dropoff
Curbside drop off is available at both of our ceremony locations. View the Southern California parking map and Northern California parking map for the curbside drop off locations.
Early Entry
Attendees with ADA guest tickets will have the opportunity for them and one general admission ticketed companion guest to enter the venue before general admission seating begins. See ceremony schedule for exact times by location.
ADA Seating
There will be designated guest seating on the ground level for our attendees with ADA guest tickets and one companion. In Southern California, guests may be able to hold seats for their entire party near the ADA guest seating area. In Northern California, attendees with ADA guest tickets and one companion will be able to sit in the ADA guest seating area and the rest of their party will need to find seats nearby in the general guest seating area.
Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing
In Southern California, captioning will be available on the large screens near the stage for guests who may be deaf or hard-of-hearing. In Northern California, captioning is available on your personal mobile device by visiting the captioning website. A link to be provided closer to the ceremony.
If you need ASL interpretation, please request this by emailing commencement@umassglobal.edu at least 4 weeks prior to the ceremony.
Wheelchair Resources
The university does not provide wheelchairs or carts at the event. Please come prepared with your own assistive devices. Graduating students and guests can rent a wheelchair from one of the local wheelchair vendors.
