Clarissa Encino

Clarissa is a licensed master social worker and doctoral candidate. Prior to entering higher education, she was a medical social worker in the pediatric hematology/oncology unit where she developed her love for the medical field, and death and dying expertise. Always wanting to teach, Clarissa decided to continue her education and after starting her doctoral journey, landed an opportunity starting her higher education career at her local university in San Antonio. Clarissa is a true Texan and loves the heat, spending time with her family, which includes her three girls, going to spin class, and reading sci-fi and thriller books.
