Accessibility Tickets
During the registration process, graduating students can designate if they need accessibility accommodations or if any of their guests need accessibility guest tickets.
Accessibility Seating
The Winter Commencement seating is at floor level. There will be designated section of guest seating set aside for our attendees with Accessibility guest tickets and they may bring with them one general admission guest companion. The rest of their party is welcome to secure seats nearby the Accessibility section.
Deaf or Hard-of-Hearing
At the Winter Commencement, captioning is available on the large screens near the stage and on your personal mobile device by visiting the captioning website. Those with Accessibility tickets can choose to sit in the Accessibility section for the best view of the screens.
If you need ASL interpretation, please request this by emailing commencement@umassglobal.edu at least 4 weeks prior to the ceremony.
Wheelchair Rental Resources
The university does not provide wheelchairs or carts at the event. Please come prepared with your own assistive devices. Graduating students and guests can rent a wheelchair from one of the local wheelchair vendors.
