Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for participation in an upcoming commencement ceremony, the student’s official degree audit must indicate that the student is on course to satisfactorily complete all degree requirements by the required session (indicated below), of that academic year or sooner.
- Winter Commencement – On course to complete by Spring Session II
- Summer Commencement – On course to complete by Summer Session II
Steps to Participate in Commencement
Participation in the commencement ceremony involves a two-step process.
Step 1: Student submits the Commencement Interest form to receive approval of eligibility.
Step 2: Student submits the RSVP Ticket form via Tassel website to register themselves and secure guest tickets.
The deadline to complete the Commencement Interest form for the upcoming Summer Commencement and have your name included in the printed program is March 4, 2026.
The RSVP or Registration form is scheduled to open for the upcoming Summer Commencement on March 12, 2026. The last day to register and secure guest tickets is April 13, 2026.
Important Summer Commencement Deadlines
The following deadlines are for graduating students planning to attend the Summer Commencement on Saturday, May 16, 2026:
- March 4, 2026 – Commencement interest form deadline (and have your name included in the printed program).
- March 6, 2026 – Deadline to purchase custom Doctoral regalia (via Oak Hall website).
- March 12, 2026 – RSVP ticket form opens (via Tassel website).
- March 16, 2026 – Student speaker application deadline.
- March 18, 2026 - Commencement Chat webinar (5:30 p.m. PST).
- April 3, 2026 – Deadline to purchase Undergrad and Master's regalia and rent Doctoral regalia (via Oak Hall website).
- April 13, 2026 – RSVP ticket form deadline (via Tassel website).
- April 28, 2026 – Info session webinar (5:30 p.m. PST).
- May 12, 2026 – Tickets available to print and email.
- May 16, 2026 – Ceremony day!
