High graduation rates, high student and alumni satisfaction, and low student loan default rates are proof that our students thrive in their programs and enjoy successful outcomes.
The Numbers Show Our Commitment to Your Future
Because we are a nonprofit, private university, at UMass Global our focus is on our students, not the bottom line. We’re committed to improving the lives of our adult learners through education. But this isn’t some pie-in-the-sky statement — it’s reality. We have the statistics to illustrate our student success.
High Graduation Rate
A university’s graduation rate illustrates the level to which its students are satisfied with their education journey and had the support they needed to succeed. Within eight years, 72% of UMass Global full-time students graduate and 59% of overall students (part- and full-time) graduate.
Low Student Loan Default Rate
A university’s student loan default rate is a surprisingly accurate gauge of alumni success, as it measures the percentage of graduates who fail to pay back their student loans. At UMass Global, our student loan default rate is 48% lower than the national average. This illustrates the fact that our working students use their new degrees or certificates to their advantage, progressing in their jobs and their ability to repay their student loans.
Outstanding Referral Rate
Nothing is quite the same as a peer-to-peer or family recommendation. That’s why we take great pride in the fact that 91% of our alumni say they would recommend UMass Global to a friend, family member, or colleague. In other words, don’t take our word for it — ask our students and alumni.
