Program Overview

The UMass Global Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is a fully online program that emphasizes the foundations of IT and the latest practical technologies. You’ll master IT essentials such as networks, operating systems, databases, and security. To further prepare you for your career, you’ll also cover team building, organizational communication, and leadership. You can choose three electives to broaden your expertise or opt for a Project Management emphasis.

  • Project Management Emphasis: Prepare to manage all aspects of IT projects, from planning to programming to implementation.
  • Earn Industry-Endorsed Certifications: Part of your final involves passing required industry certifications related to real-world IT applications, including CompTIA A+, Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA), and others. We offer these for free as part of your coursework.
  • Real World Skills and Value: Our IT coursework is designed for workplace relevance. We continually audit our offerings to ensure they evolve with the constantly evolving world of information technology.
