Become an Effective School Psychologist
Earn your Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in School Psychology and Master of Arts in Educational Psychology concurrently at UMass Global in a flexible program that blends online coursework with in-person clinical practice. You’ll complete 450 hours of practicum that combine first-year coursework with second-year, school-based experiences under the supervision of a credentialed school psychologist, followed by 1,200 hours of supervised internship in PK-12 schools, preparing you to support students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional well-being while meeting requirements for the California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential in School Psychology.
In this program, you’ll learn to help students overcome academic and social challenges, collaborate and advocate for children using data to inform educational planning, and understand key regulations related to special education, counseling, assessment, and communication. You can also personalize your path by adding an emphasis that aligns with your interests and the type of impact you want to make in schools.
