About Rainer
Rainer has been training and coaching leaders for over 40 years. He received his doctorate in education in 1993. His extensive experience as a university professor, pastor, and coach uniquely equip him to serve a wide variety of clients and organizations.
Rainer currently teaches at the University of Massachusetts Global, Vincennes University and Olympic College. Rainer regularly provides leadership training courses for the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, the Naval Submarine Base at Bangor, and the Naval Undersea Warfare Center in Keyport, Washington.
Rainer loves to inspire groups as an instructor and conference speaker. He is passionate about coaching and training leaders and their teams around the world. Helping individuals and organizations reach their goals is his calling.
Rainer and his wife, Susan, have been married for 44 years and have five children.
What makes a coaching relationship great?
A coaching relationship is great when both the coach and coachee enthusiastically seek to move forward and solve problems in creative ways. When both of them trust each other, great things can happen. Under those conditions, the amount of progress that can be achieved in a short time is significant.

What makes a perfect day off?
Fly-fishing and floating a western river while taking landscape and wildlife photos and videos.

18 years of adult education experience as an adjunct professor at UMass Global, Olympic College and Vincennes University. Corporate training instructor for the School of Extended Education since 2016.
