Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is characterized by uncontrollable and recurring thoughts (obsessions), repetitive and excessive behaviors (compulsions), or both. In this webinar, we will dive beneath the surface of OCD to uncover what drives obsessions and compulsions and how to best serve our clients through treatment. Through real-world examples and evidence-based insights, behavioral health professionals will learn how to spot hidden symptoms, break the cycle of doubt and ritual, and empower clients to reclaim control over their lives. Walk away with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a deeper understanding of one of mental health’s most misunderstood conditions.

In this webinar you will:

-Learn how intrusive thoughts, anxiety, and compulsions interact—and how to recognize this pattern in diverse client presentations

-Identify key diagnostic features of OCD, learn how to administer screening tools, and distinguish OCD from related disorders

-Gain practical evidence-based treatment strategies such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), CBT, and ACT to help clients break free from compulsive cycles

-Build competence in treating OCD with cultural sensitivity, collaborative care approaches, and self-awareness as a clinician
