According to Postpartum Support International, 1 in 5 women and 1 in 10 men may experience depression and anxiety during the perinatal period, the time spanning pregnancy and the year after birth.

Perinatal mental health disorders encompass a variety of mood, anxiety, and anxiety-related conditions that can occur during pregnancy or within the first year after childbirth. In this webinar, participants will gain essential knowledge and trauma-informed strategies to identify and assess for perinatal mental health disorders. Differential diagnosing of perinatal mental health disorders will be discussed as well as best practices and trauma-informed treatment approaches for providers.
