UMass Global Scholarships

TEACH is a federal award which provides funds to students who are completing coursework that is required to begin a teaching career. Recipients must agree to serve as a full-time teacher in a high-need field in a low-income school for a minimum of four years.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If the service obligation is not completed, the funds are converted to a Federal Direct Unsubsidized loan, which must be repaid, with interest accruing from the date of disbursement. For more information, please visit here.
