HCAI Behavioral Health Scholarship Program

• Eligibility: BHSP provides scholarships to behavioral health students seeking education or training to become behavioral health practitioners through a certificate, associate, bachelor, master and/or doctoral degree program in exchange for a 12-month service obligation practicing and providing direct patient care in an underserved community, eligible applicants may receive up to $25,000. • Eligibility: Commit to work a minimum of two-year within an Indian health program in your chosen health professional discipline

The Bright Futures Scholarship

• Eligibility: For graduating high school seniors, currently enrolled undergraduate students, and reentry students pursuing a first associate (AA) or bachelor’s (BA) degree, and graduate students who can demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. Must be currently residing in California.

AMVETS National Scholarship Program

Army Women's Foundation Legacy Scholarship

• Eligibility: Students must be a woman who has served or is serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard or the lineal descendant of a woman who has served or is serving honorably in the U.S. Army, U.S. Army Reserve or Army National Guard.

Military Order of the Purple Heart Scholarship

• Eligibility: Must be a Purple Heart recipient, spouse or direct lineal descendant of a Purple Heart recipient. Applicants must also be a full time student with a 2.75 GPA.

Sport Clips Help a Hero Scholarship

• Eligibility: Students must be retired, honorably discharged, active duty, or a member of the National Guard or Reserve. They must also be separated with or currently hold a military rank of E-5 or below and demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Please see source for additional details.

AFCEA War Veterans Scholarship (Undergraduate Only)

• Eligibility: Students must be on active duty in the uniformed military services or honorably discharged veterans of the Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan or Iraqi Freedom Operations (2004 - present), and they must be currently enrolled and attending classes in an eligible STEM major degree program. Please see source for additional details.

STEM students: you may be eligible for added benefits

If you’re a Veteran using the Post-9/11 GI Bill or are a Fry Scholar, you may be eligible for additional benefits of up to nine months or $30,000.

You must:

1.  Be enrolled in a qualifying Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM) program,
2.  Have completed a certain amount of time on your degree,
3.  Have six months or less of your benefits left (if you apply too soon, you’ll be denied).
