In 2025, a middle school implementing targeted supports for Long-Term English Learners (LTELs) saw 82% of students improve, with 40% gaining 100+ points in ELA.*

The English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC) is a required state assessment that measures the English language proficiency of students whose primary language is not English. In this webinar, participants will learn how to intentionally and effectively implement designated supports and accommodations for the ELPAC. We will examine the purpose and appropriate use of these supports, strengthen decision-making aligned to student needs, and gain practical strategies to ensure equitable, accessible, and compliant testing experiences.

In this webinar you will:
-Identify the types of designated supports and accommodations available for the ELPAC
-Understand the criteria for selecting and assigning appropriate supports
-Apply intentional decision-making processes to ensure accessibility for all English learners
-Confidently implement supports during testing in alignment with state guidelines
