Program Overview

Every student learns differently, and understanding these differences is essential to effective teaching. Students of all ages exhibit a range of learning styles—such as visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and reading/writing preferences—and when instruction aligns with these styles, engagement and comprehension significantly improve. Likewise, teachers often have their own preferred methods of instruction, which can unintentionally limit how content is delivered. This course is designed to help educators recognize the full spectrum of learning styles and examine how their own teaching habits may align—or misalign—with those of their students. Through reflection, practical strategies, and lesson design activities, you will learn how to intentionally incorporate a variety of learning modalities into your instruction. By the end of the course, you’ll be equipped to create more inclusive, differentiated lesson plans that reach and support every learner in your classroom.
