We offer both self-paced and instructor-led options, so learners can choose the modality that best fits their needs.
  • Curriculum Built for Immediate Application: Much of our coursework is structured around real-world scenarios, encouraging students to draw from their current job experiences and apply new knowledge directly to their roles. • Positive Impact on Your Business: By investing in your employees’ education, you’ll see immediate returns as they bring fresh skills and perspectives to their work. This not only improves performance but also boosts morale and loyalty, helping you build a stronger, more skilled workforce over time.

Each academic session at UMass Global lasts six weeks, giving your employees the ability to adjust their course load as their work and personal schedules require.

Session Structure:

  • There are six sessions per year, each running for eight weeks.
  • Employees can start, pause, or resume their studies at the beginning of any session.

Course Load Options:

  • Part-time: 1 class per session (typically 3 credits).
  • Full-time: 2 or more classes per session.

Flexibility to Pause:

  • If your employee needs to focus on a major project or experiences a busy period at work, they can take a session off with no penalty. This allows them to step away for six weeks and return when ready, without impacting their academic standing.

Advisor Support:

  • Academic advisors are available to help students plan their course load, make adjustments as needed, and ensure their schedule aligns with both professional and personal commitments.

This session-based approach allows your employees to tailor their education to meet changing work demands, ensuring they can continue their studies without unnecessary stress or disruption.

The total cost of a degree at UMass Global can vary based on a few factors, like the program your employee chooses and how many credits they’re able to transfer in. We have a generous transfer policy—students can bring in up to 90 credits toward a bachelor’s degree, which can really help lower both the time and overall cost to finish.

Cost Per Credit:

  • Tuition is charged per credit, and rates may change from year to year. For the most up-to-date cost per credit, check out the UMass Global tuition page. This way, you’ll always have the latest info.

Total Program Cost:
The overall price depends on:

  • The number of credits needed for the program
  • How many credits your employee transfers in (up to 90 for bachelor’s degrees)
  • Any additional fees or course-specific costs

Since everyone’s situation is a little different, the best way to get a clear estimate is to look at the current tuition rates and see how many credits your employee might be able to transfer. Our admissions and advising teams are happy to help you and your employees figure out the options and put together a personalized cost estimate.
