Program Overview
University of Massachusetts Global’s School of Extended Education offers credit for students who complete the Military Infant, Child, and Youth Training Certificate modules. Students can apply for professional development credit for modules (all or individually) or 3 academic credits for completing all modules.
Infant, Toddler/Preschool
- 13 modules
- Certificate is equivalent to 208 clock hours
- Successful completion of the entire certificate program can grant three (3) general academic credits toward UMass Global degree completion
Youth (6-12 grade)
- 14 modules
- Certificate is equivalent to 224 clock hours
- Successful completion of the entire certificate program can grant six (6) general academic credits toward UMass Global degree completion
Child Care (6 weeks-12 years old)
- 13 modules
- Certificate is equivalent to 208 clock hours
- Successful completion of the entire certificate program can grant three (3) general academic credits toward UMass Global degree completion
