Gold Country Media: UMass Global alumnus to serve as Colfax Elementary School District's new superintendent

Gold Country Media reported on August 16 that UMass Global alumnus Andrew Giannini, who earned a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership from the university in 2021, will serve as the superintendent of Colfax Elementary School District. The district serves families in Placer County, California.

“‘People are my passion and, as superintendent, I will work with all people who will impact our students,’ Giannini said. ‘Parents are the strong bonds that hold our community together and must have a voice in the educational development of our students. As the superintendent of the district, I will be a trusting and reliable leader to connect all the resources of the community together for the benefit of our students and families.’”
