Accessible Education Information for Faculty

Support from OAE

The Office of Accessible Education (OAE) serves faculty, staff and students. OAE assists students, once they are admitted to the university, by facilitating their requests and approving services. With regards to faculty and staff, we are a resource in ensuring that academic accommodations are in place and effective. We provide a variety of support to faculty and staff members, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Troubleshooting/assisting with establishing classroom accommodations
  • Providing consultation on working with various types of disabilities
  • Providing faculty training and educational resources

If there is ever a question or need for consultation on any matter related to OAE students or services, please contact our office at (949) 341-9976 or by email at oae@umassglobal.edu. If you are a faculty/staff member inquiring about accommodations, please contact Human Resources.

For additional faculty resources, please visit the OAE Faculty/Staff page on the My.UMassGlobal website.
