Biography
Roberta Dellhime has over 30 years of comprehensive human resources experience, including more than twenty-five years serving as a chief human resources officer in higher education institutions. Her experience in the field includes recruitment and retention, conflict resolution, internal consulting and change management, labor relations, employee benefits, compensation and payroll administration. She has extensive background in labor and employment law including labor negotiations, complaints, investigations and grievance arbitration.
Roberta comes to Umass Global from Franklin Pierce University (Rindge, NH) where she served as the Director of Human Resources and Risk Management with responsibility for University- wide HR functions including talent management, wage and salary administration, employee benefits and compensation administration, risk management administration and regulatory compliance. She also served as the institution’s Title IX coordinator.
Prior to joining Franklin Pierce University, Roberta served for more than twenty years as the Human Resources Director at the University of Redlands (Redlands, CA), where she was responsible for all Human Resources programs, functions and services, including services to the University’s eight regional campuses serving adult learners.
Roberta received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Communications as well as her master’s degree in Public Administration (Human Resources Management) from the University of Southern California. Roberta is involved with a number of professional organizations including College and University Personnel Administrators (CUPA), Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM), Professional in Human Resources Management (PHIRA).
